Happy holidays, can you believe we’re almost to the halfway point? Here is the line up for week nine:

Boomer–Rohde

- Boomer – Lockwood: They are close in the standings, but Lockwood is on a four game streak. Look for a low scoring but exciting match.
- Arndt – McGovern: I was told to not let my feelings get in the way of making picks, but I just can’t imagine a situation where McGovern would lose. Arndt has shown serious abilities against good teams, but McGovern is back to their original lineup this week.
- Lawrence – Sonnabend: Lawrence can hold their own against top ranked teams so Sonnabend will have no room for error. Sonnabend would be the easy choice (given their record) but I need an upset for the week, so don’t let me down Lawrence.
- Wangensteen – Beranek: Early losses have kept Wangensteen down in the rankings but they have been on a roll lately while Beranek has had some ups and downs. Beranek will be looking for a win after last week’s close loss. I think they’ll remind Wangensteen what defeat feels like.
- Stanek – McLellan: If they stay healthy, Stanek should take care of business tonight.
- Jansen – Lichty: Lichty continues its grueling schedule of playing all the top rated teams when they face off against Jansen. I don’t think they’ll pull it off this week, but look for them to move up dramatically during the second half of the season.
- Erickson – Kruse: Kruse has shown that they can take on anyone in this league and I think that they’ll perpetuate that sentiment this week. Look for Erickson to make it interesting, but I’ll go with Kruse in the end.
- Anderson – Rohde: These guys are very close, but Rohde got a big confidence boost with last weeks victory, I’m sure being predicted on this site had a lot to do with it. This will be the match to watch come 11:00.
